EveryDay Do Something That You Love

EveryDay Do Something That You Love

Greet The Day Waking up in the morning as soon as my feet hit the floor, I love to extend my arms exposing my heart. And greet the day with an invitation to the Spirits of love, gratitude, peace, abundance, acceptance and self-acceptance. I love this time of the day; it is a new day, a new beginning. Sometimes I do it even when I don't feel like it, and when I do, it makes always me feel better. It sets the tone for my day. Just Being In Nature My temperament is best suited for spending time … [Read more...]

Eating With Your Hands Is Good For Your Health

Eating With Your Hands Is Good For Your Health

A few weeks ago, I was having dinner with friends at our favorite place. All of us do some form of healing work and we are all familiar that energy with intent can transform the quality of our food and water.   Our conversation turned to eating with our hands without the use of utensils. This is something that is not new to me really; I always enjoy eating with my fingers when I am home.  But lately this is a topic that has been getting attention even on the TV show “The … [Read more...]

Giving The Gift Of One’s Presence

Giving The Gift Of One's Presence

Many of us are preparing for the Christmas season. And I am reflecting on how I want to live in this season of light and gift giving. On this sojourn called life, I have come to understand and accept the fact that I am responsible for creating my own reality. So, the question that arises in me is how do I wish to spend this Festival of Lights. Do I want to spend my life force going shopping for useless gifts just to get a present as I have done in the past? Going Into Credit Card Debt I … [Read more...]

In These Changing and Chaotic Times

In These Changing and Chaotic Times

In these changing and chaotic times, it is so important to stay calm, centered, focused. Many of us who are waking up from deep sleep need to be mindful to stay cheerful, and happy no matter what is going on in the world. Sometimes it is difficult to see our brothers and sisters having a hard time, I see a lot of people walking but they are not awake. We, human beings, have such an inbuilt capacity to worship, and it is for this reason, that we are so susceptible to being enslaved. We are seeing … [Read more...]

Need or Want? Look Within and Stop, Watch and Think

Need or Want

The impulse to take, keep, hold onto and advance at the expense of others is rampant.  All you have to do is watch it in the world around you. Watching tv for me, sometimes, is a hoot; these qualities are emulated in tv programs all the time. Stop, Watch and Think This weekend, I had the opportunity to witness this in action. A couple was trying to get a shopkeeper to come down in price on a pair of tights from $12.50 already half off to $10.00.  These same people kept asking all kinds of … [Read more...]

The Garden of Eden

The Garden of Eden

I was reading an article about a replica of a Titanic Boa that is being exhibited at Grand Central Station starting March 23rd. This 48 foot long snake is the length of a school bus and said to have lived 58 million years ago. The presence of the model snake is intended  to "scare the daylights out of people in an effort to communicate science to a lot of people". This article and the look of this creature on display struck a chord in me. The Sacrifice of Our Spiritual Nature Yes, we live in … [Read more...]

Simplicity: Freeing up Our Life Force from Things That Imprison Us

Simplicity: Freeing up Our Life Force from Things That Imprison Us

We are all educated to want more and more.  The media and the world around us support an insatiable appetite for new, better and more.  And we are made to believe that accumulating a lot of material goods makes us special and important.  Identifying with the objects we possess feeds our self worth. In truth, these things wind up possessing us, not us possessing them.  So much of our life force goes into having, acquiring and retaining all that we can.  And we all have experienced the … [Read more...]
